World Children’s Day 2025: Road Game Map Brings Play Back to Reggio Calabria’s Neighbourhoods
Reggio Calabria, 20 November 2025. On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the Italian Sports Centre (CSI) of Reggio Calabria, in collaboration with the Office of the Ombudsperson for Children and Adolescents and UNICRI, launched an innovative project promoting participation, inclusion, and urban and social regeneration: the Interactive Map of public outdoor sports spaces in the city of Reggio Calabria.

UNICRI Conducts AI Training for Qatari Judiciary in The Hague
The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), through its Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, partnered with the Supreme Judiciary Council of the State of Qatar to deliver a specialized five-day training programme on the role of AI in advancing criminal justice. The event took place from 27 to 31 October at the UNICRI Centre in The Hague and concluded at the historic Peace Palace’s Great Hall of Justice.

Communicating in a Crisis: Regional Responses to Chemical and Biological Incidents
From 4 to 6 November 2025, the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), in partnership with the United States Department of State and the Government of the Republic of Korea, and with the involvement of the European Union (EU) Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Centres of Excellence (CoE), organized a regional Tabletop Exercise (TTX) titled “Communicating in a Crisis: Regional Responses to Chemical and Biological Incidents.” The event was co-hosted by the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand.
